Stitch Draw
The marks n these works have been made by my trusty Bernina to replicate the marks made in my drawings - wiggling the canvas around and using combinations of close hued colours to create the tonal effect. Subject matter includes industrial fishing practice, the liminal state of childhood, chalk bedrock of Winchester and an imagined alternative war experience for Paul Nash.
